Is it just me, or does the new game feel a bit...messy. I myself don't see how it connects to the previous games;it doesn't...the plot doesn't make much sense.
Such as the mini games you get after completing each night; they don't really flow well with the lore I feel. Specially by the end of the 5th night.
I myself am not going to consider those mini games as a canon part of the story, but more so as something simply added. I've been piecing things together, theorizing, and puzzling constantly since the game came out, and it just doesn't add up together. It makes no sense to me, but I dont know, maybe that's just the stupid part of me talk
